How a person sees him or herself has a huge influence on that person’s view of the world and upon that person’s choices. When one’s self image is not securely rooted in God, then it is susceptible to impulses of society and culture and of one’s immediate surroundings, many of which are unhelpful. A leader’s character comes into play, for example, in dealing with frequent issues regarding money, sex, or power. This course shall assist the student in discerning his or her own weaknesses and developing strategies to balance the amount. Certainly in the interaction between men and women, leaders must develop clarity of conviction and practice in order to avoid questionable or abusive behavior or becoming a victim of such behaviors.
