Learning Strategies: Developing study habits and strategies
An important part of a person’s personality is his or her style of learning. When a student understands his or her personality and style of learning, then he or she is in a position to organize his or her professional and private life, having optimized the following factors:

  • Choice of information.
  • Interpretation of instructional content.
  • Retention of instructional content.
  • Productive interaction with people who have other styles of learning.

Our own instructional preferences are strongly influenced by our behavioral preferences. Our choices to employ or to pass over specific teaching strategies is based on our convictions whether those strategies work or not.
